Where are folks getting their salt?

I am about to order a bunch of salt for the zoo and myself and I was wondering where folks are obtaining salt fr5om these days. Drs. Fosters-Smith are currently running a sale on IO salt mix but I have to consider the shipping charges. Do people order salt or purchase locally. I know one of the local stores (Petco or Pet Depot?) used to have cut rate on their internet which they would honor in their stores. Does that still apply? Are their any places that have discounts for group orders? Perhaps I will ask St james and Geo about a group order.

Fosters-Smith salt is currently $47.99 for 160 g IO mix in a bucket (not a box)
That Fish Place is $45.99 with 5.99 flat rate shipping for the same amount
Petsmart shows $48.99 on their internet add but if they have it at their store then that means no shipping. So perhaps i will try their and see if they honor the internet price.

ABC - $45 for a bucket of Reef Crystals. I'm probably headed there this weekend. I could get you some, depending on how much you needed.

Me and Henry have been getting ours from Tropical Fish Outlet here in Elmira. The owner sells us the instant ocean 200gal boxes for 45 if we buy four or more boxes.

I saw regular IO for $49 at petco. no shipping charges but tax

I just bought a 5 gal pail of Instant Ocean yesterday from ABC Reefs in Syracuse....$40. They argue it is the best price around. Unless you go down to PetSmart with a cheaper price from somewhere online and argue with the manager for about $5 more, I don't think you will find it cheaper anywhere else...and for $5 extra to support a nice LFS and to get a chance to drool over the livestock...it is well worth the trip.

ABC Reefs and you just have to buy another coral or fish while there. I can never walk out with one thing, so I send my daughter much safer for me. LOL

I know the feeling. I go up there for a bucket of salt and a zoa frag and come back with salt, 4 zoas, an acan, 2 sps frags and 10lbs of LR.
