Where are most of you?

Im in Illinois,60 miles east of QC,50 North of Peoria,can't even buy salt without a road trip.Where's the Iowa hotspots?-----Will grind crankshafts and bore/hone for frags!!! John
 
There are quite a few of us all around the state. There is a pretty good population around the QC area now and more keep spinging up over there everyday! Glad to see you found us!

We might be able to work something out on the honing for frags. What kind of machine are you using? Hopefully a sunnen ck-10.

I need to tear my boat motor down and touch up the cylinder walls. Also, can you align hone?

Covey,yeah its me.Sounds like a nice new LFS were going to have to road trip to from out here in Mayberry!bgreenlee,no Im still old school manual honing with a Van Norman cabinet with Sunnen head.I like the feel of control with it.Never tapered,never out of round.Abrahams in Davenport does all my align boring for me.I do have the only crank grinder in Bureau county though.I can grind anything fron a 1 cyl Kohler to a Giant tractor shaft.Also do head and rod work.Ill have to get out and meet y'all,John
