Where are the honking reef stores ?!

So, I'm out in Centre.. about 30 mins toward ROME, Ga from Gadsden. Where are some decent reef stores???? The closest is Langs (great people), but once you've been in the hobby long enough to cover the basics there isn't much there.

My sympathies to you. I have the same problem here in Walker County - nothing decent within a reasonable driving distance. I used to drive to Tuscaloosa and Tupelo and no longer can find anything either place. I know of only one store in Tuscaloosa and the tanks could be easily mistaken for sewers. The last time I was in there, I asked the guy why they didn't clean them up since no responsible fish keeper would risk bringing anything home out of those tanks. He just shrugged his shoulders.
So Ok people, where are those secret fish stores?

I only know of about 4-5 in the whole state. Two are here in Montgomery, though.
There aren't anywhere near as many good stores in Atlanta as there were a couple of years ago, either. Between the economy and the easy availability of mail order livestock, a lot of brick-and-mortar shops just haven't been able to make it.

There is a store in Oxford called Valley Tropical fish. They have a okay amout of stuff alot more than Langs. There # is 831-3474

a word on brick and morter shops and mail order (internet) livestock. remember that some local shops would love to be givin the chance to match or compete with internet prices. which ,by the way, are not usually that great after shipping. they would rather sell for less than not sell at all. not to mention the more they can move the more they can get in. win win.
