Hello I tried to search before I posted but the search option is always disabled. I just wanted to know where I can purchase starboard and how I should order it should I order it in 2 pieces or will it fit in one piece it's a 120 gallon 4x2x2 glass with the center brace appreciate any replies thank you

Elephen I don't get it how would those dimensions work isn't the point to cover the entire bottom of the tank as to not leave any open space sorry just a little confused

Well that doesn't make sense either since the inside of the tank isn't exactly 48 inches or 24 it's about 47 1/2 and so on is that stuff easy to cut?

i cut mine with a skillsaw using a plastic cutting blade......a hacksaw will also cut it but not nearly as quick or as clean and straight

Thats a good question, I was on there site and it looks like you can cut it with a table or circular saw. I think the reason he said 18x24 was they don't sell them in 24x24 but they do sell 18x24. Either way you are going to probably want to cut around your overflow anyway right.

No not really don't have built in overflow sodon't need to cut anything, even so the dimesions don't match because I could see where the 2 24 inches would go with a little trimming but what about the 18 inches the tank is wider than that it's at least 23inches right

can i ask why you are going to put starboard in there? Unless you like the look there is no reason for it. I have been running a BB with nothing covering the glass for about a year. Coralline takes over.

in austin there is a place called regal plastics. i would try any plastic supplier in new mexico- there have to be some in albeq.

The reason for putting Starboard in my tank is because it's glass and I want to drill my rock and put 1/2 in grey pvc to make my own bigger rock with ledges and I know one day I might hit a rock hard enough to knock it down and well let's just say better safe than sorry besides it's not that expensive and I'm really fond of the black starboard from what I've seen here on RC.
