I want to glue a magnet to the side of my Nano Cleaner because with the new skimmer I can't mount it with the stock mounts. I would like to use Tangit, but I would like to get it done sooner if there is an alternative that would work because I am tired of bailing the film off of the surface. Marine Depot is the only place I could find that has Tangit and they take over a week to get to me.
The 9005 is amazing. It was pulling out some thick stuff after being in the tank only 4 hours. I am sending the 9002 to my son in California to use in his 15 gal. Should I take the pump out before shipping?
You should be able to screw the nano cleaner to the magnet with the short screws that came with the rail. It is awkward as the magnet takes your screwdriver away. I finally got so tired of this problem a made a make shift screwdriver from a bar of aluminum.
I actually want to glue a magnet to the side of the unit so I don't have to use the mounting bracket. It is a magnet holder from a different company. The Tunze magnet mount is holding my 9005 now. Is there an alternative to Tangit I can use? I got my replacement sliding cover a few days ago, thanks.
It is basically like a thickened plastic cement, Oatey sells one called ABS/PVC/Plastic cement that might work. Testors model cement, the kind that smells good, might work too.
