Where did all the stomatellas go?

Is there anything known to prey specifically on stomatella snails? 5 months ago I couldn't look in the tank without seeing atleast 3 at a time, they were constantly spawning, it was great. Now I feel lucky that I caught a glimpse of one little guy crusin around. I currently keep 2 tangs, 1 percula, 1 ocellaris, 2 pajama cardinals, 1 scooter blenny, and a Rainford's goby. There are also 3 peppermint, 1 skunk, and 1 coral banded shrimp. A few small crabs. What do you guys think? I know that the stomatellas which I don't ever see anymore died, because occasionally in the rubble I see their odd shaped little shell backs. What ate/killed them? All of my astreas, turbos, and nassarius snails remain, so whatever it is, it's picky.

I have heard that the shrimp are notorious culprits.

I kind of suspected a shrimp, my coral banded in fact. This shrimp has become really large and fairly dominant. I've even seen it nip at fish that try to hang out in it's favorite cove. However, I've never seen anything eating on them, only their empty shells.
