Where did the local glass thread go?

Are you going to build your own sump firebretha ???

I contacted probably 15 shops on pricing for Starphire and that stuff is PRICEY around here... its sick honestly. :lol:

what place closest to us was the most affordable / seemed the best to work with?
 
My boss said he used a place in Auroa called Schor Glass, I'm going to give them a call as well now.

I'm still checking all over, so far the cheapest I've found is the place right by my house. Their starphire pieces were 30"x26"x1/2" thick and were $150 per panel with all edges polished.

I think glass cages sells for $15 sq.ft which is insane based on the rates I've seen at some of these places.

Youre going to be just using regular plate so I would think Schor or glasshopper by you would be more than enough to call for pricing.....

Ive had some places quote me $243 per pane of starphire, I cant believe how far off these places are on pricing. :rolleyes:

Did anybody call Herb's Glass and Mirror?

Herbs glass was close to the place by me, they were $163.24 polished.

The most expensive place so far was a place in Barrington (no suprise) that was $254 per piece......
