Where is eveyone from?

Born in Mexico City & came here at 4 to 6 months old. Kinda blurry :lol: 26th & Trumbull - real south siders know this place. Humbolt Park North Ave. & Fairfield. Various places by Milwaukee & California. About 4 houses from Congress Theater on Rockwell. Palatine & Joliet. Now back here in the NW burbs.

They closed a year after I bought my machine shop out here. The right move at the right time, I must say. That big crank out front was a tugboat crank. A bit larger than the biggest of tractor cranks I do out here!

Yes, yes it does. My daughter just informed me my grandaughter starts kindergarden this fall. And I'm going tomorrow to see Alice Cooper, who I haven't seen since 1974 as a wee lad of 14. Crap, I'm old. Now,back to where's everyone from?

never left Oak Lawn my entire life..as far as residence.

wonder how long before this OT post gets closed because it was getting "unruly".
 
Born in Chicago in '76 and raised in Humbolt Park area at Hirsch and Tripp which is near Grand and Pulaski. Moved to Schaumburg in the mid 80's with my family. I later moved to Wicker Park, Des Plaines, then bought a house in Schaumburg. I now live in Streamwood.

Born and raised in Park Forest, moved to Woodridge, Mount Prospect and now split my residency between Elmhurst and Kansas City.

that was some of my stomping grounds as a kid...my uncle lived on Loveland just down from Lane School. my cuz and i would ride our bikes by the trails along to creek and behind the ball fields there. hell you might have even known my uncle, Dennis Lyskawa ring a bell?
 
Born in Ste. Genevieve, MO moved to the Cape Girardeau (Oran) in 2000 during college then in 2006 meet fiance and we both moved to Chicago to attend Grad School and teach (Lakeview area) then we bought our first place in Albany Park.

Name don't ring a bell, but that's my backyard and a lot of my younger days were lost back by that creek!:smokin:

cool, actually it takes me less time since i drive like im insane, ever have some tacos al carbon in iguala? the best.
