where to buy a coral cat shark

I cant find any online retailers that sell a coral cat shark (NOT BANDED).

if you know a site or someone that I can contact regarding one for sale, I would like a small size and watch him grow.

I have a 8 foot long, 2 feet wide tank and 16 inches tall

It's listed as "near threatened" by the IUCN. I wouldn't count on finding one anytime soon.
