Where to buy just multi-controller

I have ordered a Turbell streamer Kit - 2 of 6100 with multi-controller for my 211g and 2 deco rock. I'm on the waiting list with Marinedepot and was notified by e-mail - so I should at least get 1 steamer.

My question is - in case 2 pump of 6100 is too much for 211g, where can I buy a multi-controller by itself so that I can use one of the pump in another tank 150 gallon? I did not see vendor selling just the multi-controller by itself. I did not want to get 6100 with a single controller in case of future upgrade (add a pump).

My 150 gallon is a shallow tank, 60 in long, 36 inch wide, and 15 inch deep. I have about 1 inch sand. Will Turbelle 6100 be too much for this tank?

i'm guessing your sand would be in trouble with the tank being so shallow-how attached to the sand are ya? i'm sure roger will chime in here too and he has more big tank experience along with the company line.

You can turn down the pump without a controller- their is a potentiometer on the side of the computer that you can adjust with a small screwdriver. As for buying a multicontroller seperate all dealers should offer it seperately but it is the shortest supply of all products right now. I was told on Monday by Mr Mejiele the man who builds them all that he would have 50 built for me by Friday, if this happens we will be in good shape, it will take about 10 days for them to get through both German and US customs and then here from that point and then another 5 to get to the vendors.

I got my 6100 streamers yesterday. Unfortunately, Marine Depot did not ship 2 deco rock that I order.

Just for the heck of it, I put one of the 6100 in my 150 gal (60 x 36 x 15 deep). My sand bed is fine!! Streamer puts out alot of current. I'm assuming that it is 100% power because I did not connect Multicontroller to it, and my 1.5 inch sand bed is okay.

You can adjust the Streams with the flow adjustment on the side of the blue driver box if you need too. I hope to have more multicontrollers soon and I expect you should get your rocks soon as I just sent a bunch out last week and I think they arrived in to most dealers late this week.
