Sorry... I can't support Petco at all. As a corporation, it's their responsibility to make sure that ALL of their stores are up to par, of they should shut down the saltwater section of the store (which I've seen happen). All of the Petcos I've been to sell ORA clowns, so just ask your LFS to order from ORA. However, make sure you can look at them prior to purchasing them. Some of ORA clowns, and most of the SA clowns Ive seen have a lot of physical defects (flattened faces, protruding lower jaw, etc.).
Being in SoCal, I'm betting that there are local breeders who are breeding snowflakes, and hopefully they're doing a good job. Have you posted in the local club forum? You may have better results since its much more localized.
