Where to find nori?

Any asian grocery store - there's one near me that has a whole aisle full. I had a huge package of it, and it's somewhere here... but I've misplaced it. So I bought some more today, actually.

If I find the big package, I can just give you some. Heck, you can have some of the little package - a little goes a long way.

thor and I get ours from the asian supermarket on 50 (blue and white store) I think we get like 50 sheets for $5. can't beat it.

I get mine at SITC - Sprungs Sea Veggies Purple Seaweed.

We ran out a while back - my tangs wouldn't eat the cheap stuff from the grocery - darn spoiled brats.....
But they eat this stuff out of my hand.

Literally, and like fat little pigs

Especially Fat Albert our Naso - he bumps my hand before I even get the clip in the tank...... :eek1:

I've got to make some time and figure out how to post some pics......
He really is a ham.........

its 100% natural seaweed, no additives ect ect. used commonly in sushi, and rolls and that sort of jazz.

I mixed mine with the sea veggies at the begining to get them to eat the nori from the store and now they don't care what it is :), it's only 1.89 at the publix close to my house.

Well the publix around the corner doesn't have the sushi department, thus no sea weed. Now to find one that does, or locate an asian market.

my hippo wont eat the dried sea weed-so should i try this? is it better for them?
Try rubberbanding a piece of it to a rock and sit it at the bottom. Maybe they'll pick at it like natural algae.

I buy the red stuff from SITC and the green stuff from Publix...

Today Im going to call the other Publix stores near me to see if they have a sushi dept. I dont think there are any Asian stores near me =\
