where to get a barb fitting

Has anyone tried to find a barb fitting at the big box stores lately? They are all gone, it seems like they are transitioning to PEX tubing and fittings which are smaller than the normal ones.

anyone have any other local suppliers of fittings? I've tried Home depot and Lowes and both told me they no longer stock them. All I need is a simple 3/4" 90 degree fitting, i'd even take a barb to slip fitting at this point and run PVC the rest of the way.

Hi ryeguy. I have found them at both Home Depot and Ace Hardware close to me within the last couple months. Doesn't help you much in Jersey though...

I find them at lowes easier than the others. Sometimes stock is low but you can order online with free ship to store pickup.

I did an online in store pickup at lowes yesterday and they told me (even though they show 15 in stock) that they were discontinued. I can't even find them on the HD site.

I'm lucky that way I suppose. www.savko.com is all but 15 minutes from my house. If they don't have it, IMHO, nobody does. Another good place is www.usplastics.com I don't really even bother looking at HD/Lowes anymore for anything more complicated than a PVC 90, and then only in sizes up to 2"

I was about to go us plastics but needed something quicker. Found a HD that had some by work. Ended up going to 5 HD and lowes

They are blue now instead of grey. Not sure what that means but they fit

The Lowes by me doesn't have them in the plumbing section. I had to look in the underground sprinkler section a few aisles over.

Find a good local hardware store. I buy all my plumbing from our local hardware.

Lowes in fl have them in sch80. Just bought a bunch of 3/4 @ .63 ea.
