where to get nice stand and canopy? HELP

My buddy has a 36x36in cube tank he is looking to get a nice stand and canopy made for....I referred him to kevin Kamachi who did my stand, but I guess Kevin is not answering any of his emails, so wondering if anyone out there has a good contact who can build nice stands for fair price and is reputable.

Kevin is the guy for a good price but I think he's too busy right now to build anything.

there is another guy named KC it's a hit or miss with this guy as far as pricing, about a month ago I got a quote from him for a cube tank for $350 stand & canopy plus $20 delivery, now that I'm ready to order he gave me another quote for the same exact thing $300 for stand & $200 for canopy plus $45 delivery.

I would avoid Kevin / Sabrina. I heard good things about his work, but he does not return calls. When I finally get a hold of someone, they just straight out lied. I got screwed up deal for a canopy and doors.

Go with KC, and try to work a deal.

SoCal Creations does nice wiork... but they wont be as cheap as someone working out of their garage...

How did they screw you up? I met them a couple of times they seem to be a pretty nice couple.

It usually takes him 4-5 days to return email.

But try calling again after a couple of weeks, you might get a better price.

I'll be ordering from him sometime soon, he's in the OC area. Nice guy and replied all my questions promptly. Wont hurt to get a quote. I asked him for a hood for my 34x22x22 stained to match the furniture I'm using for the stand and I believe he quoted me around $200 for oak.

We had agreed on a deal for a canopy and a set of doors for my stand. After he delivered the final product we talked about some modifications to the doors (4), and he said he could easily make the changes. So he took the parts back.
I paid for the canopy and the delivery fee, plus some more, because he was talking about some hard times his family was having with his daughter being hospitalized with seizures.
To make a long story short, that was the last I saw or heard from him, I still do not have the 4 doors for my stand and canopy. I tried several times to reach them, let several messages. I talked to his wife and some other guy, and they were being very shady.
