Where to place new anemone?

So I'm getting a new anemone tomorrow (bubble tip). Where do I initially place it? Should I place it near my clowns so they'll host it?

Should I place it at the top of the live rock, or in the sand? If it doesn't like the top will it move down? Or....if it doesn't like the sand can it move up the rock?

on your live rock away from any corals, intakes, and powerheads

I would place it away from corals on the rock and it will move on its own.

the anemone will move till it finds a spot it likes but cover intakes and powerheads as bubble tips are notorious for getting caught in them

If in hobby since 09/07 means that's when your tank was set up, I'd wait for water quality for them.
about 6mo is rec.
BTA's do tend to wander more, and will most likely choose it's place, and may move again later.
And definitely cover all intakes.

I would be more worried about covering up intakes and the like then about placement.
