wheres my firefish?

i have two firefish in my 55 gallon and immediately upon introducing my second one a few days ago they took to each other and were continously swimming with each other and occasionally purposefully bumped into one another. yesterday when i got home from work my wife said that the one has been hiding all day while the other one would swim in front of one rock pretty much the whole time. i dont know where my fish is hiding but am thinking that maybe its about ot have babies! any one ever experience something like this before? if so how do i take care of the fry when they hatch should i leave them alone or take them out of tank should i dig through the tank and find the eggs and move them with the firefish into another one?

Unless they were an actual pair, the established one is likely harassing the new one. Except for mated pairs, they just don't get along with each other.
