I was thinking I might want to get a anemone. Not sure if my lights are good enough? What would be the easier anemone to start with? Want to get my clownfish out of my zoa's he is looking sooo ugly... Also some nylon stockings over the koralia's should anemone proof them? Thanks

What kind of clownfish..thats a pretty good idea to put stockings over your koralia's. I usually put cheese cloth over mine but I like the stocking idea better. You might want to wash the stockngs in saltwater or soak them in saltwater. What kind of anemone do you want? Is this anemone going in your 75 gallon?

It is an occelaris clown, think that's how you spell it. I was looking at the lta, rbta, bta or some kind sebae. The lfs has some huge carpets but they are really really big. Just want something that the clown will host, and can thrive under my lights=) It is between an anemone or frogspawn. Just feel bad for my clown he is all black from the zoas. I will be putting it in my 75.

If this is your first anemone, I would suggest either a RBTA or regular BTA, as they are the hardiest. Ocellaris often go into them as well.

Ok, I like the rbta. Will do some more research on them see if I can handle one=) This will be my first anemone so I hope it goes well.

They are quite hardy. T-5 lighting would be great for a RBTA. You might want to go to Karen's Rose Anemones, a website all about RBTAs.
