Which angel?

None of the dwarf's (centropyge) are 100% safe. You have a 50/50 chance with a Flame angel or a coral beauty.
As mentioned above, genus Genicanthus are about as safe as your going to get angel wise. I like watanebe's and blackspots.

Genicanthus are touted as reef safe and are probably the least threatening overall but often nip. My Genicanthus melanospilos( japanese swallow tail ) decimates trachypyhylia and cynarina and nips zoanthus. I have heard from other about the other Genicanthus speices nipping.

i have had 2 golden angels and niether of them nipped my sps of clams.they arent 100% safe but i havent had an issue with them.also the multicolor angels are nice and good sps reef fish IMO.

Look at the female Genicanthus bellus.

this is a great looking fish as well

i had a multicolor angel that didnt bother anything. Pretty little fish.

I have had 3 flame angels in 3 different tanks over the last 5 years and not one has ever nipped on anything. I love the color on those too..talk about a vibrant active fish that everyone compliments.
