Which angels have the best personalities?

Which angels have the best personalities? I know some tend to be skittish and hide when viewing the tank, where others are very curious and more out in the open. Any experiences with certain ones?

Not sure if you mean large or dwarf angels. I've only kept dwarf angels - flames and coral beauties. Both were very active. My buddy has a yellow angelfish that is also very active. Mine have stayed away from corals thus far.

If you want info on large angels, (1) I can't help you and (2) I am jealous as my tank is too small.

I loved my scribbled - I had a few & they were all a pleasure & personable.

My Bicolor is the most personable, bold and active angel I've kept but has its obvious drawbacks.

I have had many large angles in the past, from my experience, Emperor, majestic, french, blue face, map, all where skittish and hide most of the time. The ones that where out all the time, where Queen, flag fin, regal.

In a 150 you probably don't want one of the giant angels.

Sticking with the dwarfs you could have several. Flames, Flameback, Belus, all are active and out and about. The Bellus is an open water angel, so it's not cruising the rock work like most of the others.

If it's not a reef tank. Lemon Peel, Bicolor and Singapore and pretty angels and you could keep all 3 in that size tank.

If looking for a bigger angel the Goldflake is one of my fav's.

And then if you happen to be cruising to the fish store in your "Thursday" Bentley you can choose from some of Ted's recommendations :)

My Regal angel was shy at first but out in the open a lot a feed aggressively now. Very beautiful and harder to keep angel.
Majestic angel also a very nice and calm angel. Neither of these angle bother any corals in my tank (currently don't have a Majestic angel). Theses are two of the larger angels I would keep in large DT.

Agreed I've had both in a reef over the years and were model citiEns. The Regal was a little more interesting puppy like.
