Which bad algae is this, and what can I do?

ostrow

It's Dr. Goodluck Himself
This stuff is gradually taking over. Bubbles at the tip of these black bristly like threads extending up about a millimeter. The stuff is like a mat or carpet, brown/black in color, and is suffocating some of my smaller corals.

The bubbles suggest to some cyano but it is NOT cyano .... this stuff doesn't come off, even scraping does little (during a water change I tried to life it off with the plastic siphon tube, to no avail.)

Best I can tell my tang, lawnmower blenny, emerald crabs, nerite, margarita, cerith and turbo snails ignore or barely eat it. Or, they aren't keeping up with its growth if they are.

HELP!!! Please help!!!

Pretty tiny picture but it suggests a bubble algae and this is more bristly I think. Bubbles appear at the tips in evening but that's about it....
