Which Books to purchase (best)

I want to purchase some nice reef, coral, marine fish books, but do not know which ones.

I am interested in:

Indentification, type, care, etc.

- Marine Fish
- Corals (sps and zoanthids)
- invertabres

I was looking at Corals of the World (only sps). And the 2 others Marine fish and Marine invertabres. I could not find one with any zoanthids either.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are definate musts...

All around exhaustive on reef care--
Reef Aquarium vol. 3-- great book.
vol 1 and 2 deal with coral IDs
for coral ID --
Corals of the world by Veron-- if you are after a more scientific book

If more of a picture book with good info-
Bornemans book suggested by Reefrus above.

A stellar coral book with few photos would be
Anthony Calfo's Book of coral propogation

For inverts there is only one worth considering and it is stellar!

don't they make a book for zoanthids

no zoanthid specific books. They are mentioned in some of the books above. No book yet because most zoas are all the same as far as care, it really would be a small book or mostly a picture book. They simply have been given fancy names as of late for certain color varieties. For more info on color varieties try zoaid.com good resource

Also, I'd recommend Scott Michaels series on Reef fishes, all three volumes.
