Which camera would you guys recommend that will take nice pics in my aquarium? Mine cant focus in close up and pics get fuzzy.

I would say that it is less about your camera and more about the lens you get. You can buy a 30 dollar film SLR body and a 500 dollar macro lens and be in great shape.

Your images will get blurry if you are taking long exposures while holding the camera in your hand.

It'd be helpful if you posted some of your pictures. Perhaps if we can figure out what's wrong with your current setup folks could make a better recommendation.

Good pictures are 90% technique - 10% hardware.

Here are some photos I took when my tank was new.

Take one step back and try taking those pictures again. If you take a look at those pictures, you'll notice that the sharpest areas are right behind the fish.

Also, try bumping your ISO up. You're shooting them at ISO 100 (I looked at the exif info); try going to ISO 200 and you should see better results (1/50 sec. is a bit slow to stop certain fish movements).

Whats an ISO? I don't know the things on the camera, I just know how to plug it into a computer and push a button to take a pic lol.

I would read through the stickies at the top of the photography forum to give you a better idea of how to use your camera. I would be surprised if you camera allows you to adjust things like aperture, ISO, and shutter speed though.

K, didn't find out much on my camera. Which camera would any of you recommend for these high quality pictures these people are taking? Do you need a photo program? Which one? Do you have to pay per month to use it?
