hey all so my parents are getting me a camera for christmas..i read some reviews on nikons and canons and they had alot of bad reviews on the picture quality..i want a point and shoot style so it will be more portable..i have leaning towards the panasonic 14megapixels with 8xzoom or the sony 12megapixel with 4x zoom..i dont remember the exact style number of the cameras but they are the ones in the 140$ range..i dont have a price range but as long as they get what they pay for..any help on where i should be looking towards..i am gonna mainly use this to take photos of my tank but it will also be used any other time i need a camera..thanks
