Which chiller configuration would be better?

I am planning on setting up a 150g tank, and I am trying to figure out what I should do for chillers?

Either two 1/5hp, or one 1/3 hp.

I am wanting to save on the electric bill if I can in any way. I am not sure whether either of these routes would...

I know having two smaller chillers, would help in case one ever gave out.

What are your thoughts?

Also, if I go the route of buying two 1/5hp chillers, I have already found one used. It is a aquanetics, do anyone have any feedback towards those?

1/3 would be the way to go then......It would cool the tank quicker and provide some insurance if you have or going with more devices and lighting later.

Btw, in case I wasn't clear in the first post, I would want to run the two 1/5hp chillers simultaneously.

the 1/3 horse unit has more cooling power than two 1/5 horse units combined. this is based on btu ratings.

I agree with gcarroll the 1/3 would be the way to go.I beleive it alone would be cheaper than buying 2 1/5`s.Cheaper on electricity.I have a 1/3 and love it.I have an AquaLogic 1/3 flow through.It is very quiet.It is quiter than the prime 1/4 tower I had before.

I heard the AL chillers where alittle on the loud side. Do you have the deltastar? I my get the 1/4 on Reefgeek since they are on a good sale.
