which clams can i keep

my tank is 60 long ,24 wide and 24 deep.1000+ gph overturn rate with plenty of flow from all directions.cpr sr6 skimmer,30gal ref.,lots of live rock,no fish planned yet,it will house lps,leathers, softies, zoa'sand very few sps,lighting is 2-250w. DE fixtures with 14k bulbs,which clams can i keep and yes my clam will be a show piece so it must be very pleasing to the eye......any suggestions, good or bad are welcome...Thanks Marcus

get a derasa, they're AWSOME! that's just me, but really...you seem to have all the right conditions, just look to see how big the clam will get, that's all you really have to worry about. (Get your Ca Levels perfect if they aren't already)

Sounds like a nice tank. You probably could keep just about any clam in that tank (minus gigas unless you plan to move it to a much larger tank) . The lighting sound great along with the filtration. How long have you had it set up? The trick to keeping clams (or anything else for that matter) is to research the exact species that you're trying to keep so that you now all of their requirements. I suggest getting a good clam book ( I recommend Giant Clams: A Comprehensive Guide to the Identification and Care of Tridacnid Clamsby Daniel Knop).
