Which containers are safe to hold my RO water?

I cannot remember which containers are safe to hold my RO water. I do believe Rubbermaid Brute containers are labeled food safe but I do not want such a large container cluttering my laundry room. Anyone have suggestions for me? Thank you in advance!

Rubbermaid makes all different sizes of containers and I believe they are all food safe. I use one for mixing water, and one for my sump under the 40g.

I went to HD yesterday and according to Rubbermaids catalog only select containers were labeled food safe. I liked a tall and slim container but it did not have the label for being food safe.

they have food safe 5 gal buckets. rubber made makes some smaller "brute" trash cans that are made out of the same stuff as the 55 gal "food safe" cans. I would be willing to bet that they are safe they just did not spend the extra cash to get them approved "food safe"

This is what I was wondering. They all say LDPE on the bottom and many are the same color.

They are not, all food safe.

I know that there are different manufactorers that just Rubbermaid brute. I remember someone saying that there is something at Wal-Mart made by another manufactor. Like I said I don't want a 30-50g garabage can in my laundry room. Anyone else with a suggestion?

I was hoping for a 20g or so container that is slim and tall so it does not take up a lot of floor space. I know that such containers are available at aquatic sites but their price of 40-80 dollars is way more than I want to spend for formed plastic. :)
