Funnily enough, I have both in a 45g Cube.

No problems. Tank mates are a shrimp goby and a bigger rosy scale wrasse. Did have a carpenter's wrasse and also a long fin fairy wrasse, with them before. But no real problems.

Bottomo line: Get both!

It's just that it's a always a risk that they might go after larger ornamentals. I'm pretty sure amphipods are more what they're after. How big are yours? I'd love to see them if you have a pic.

The male is roughly 2.5" the female is maybe 1.75". I got them from a breeder a year ago. They are so dang fast that I don't have a good pic, they also hide a lot. Beautiful fish though.

They are such pretty fish. I had one - don't know how I would have ever gotten a pic of it either. Do they hang out together?

Would you consider a Pseudochromis, if so, then Arabian Pseudochromis. Gorgeous fish, inqusitive, alert, not aggressive. Here is mine:

That is also called a Neon Dottyback in the fish trade. And they have a reputation of being highly aggressive! One of the worst, towards other small fish. They miht be peaceful in a large tank with triggers, Angels, large wrasses, but not in a smaller tank.
Which just goes to show this: Research every fish BEFORE you buy it. And never rely on one source of information..
