Which Exquisite wrasse would you get?

I plan to do an order for a pair of Exquisite wrasses from LA and was wondering, if you had to choose between Fiji, or the Maldives, which location would you choose and why?(colors are better, etc.) Also if anyone has pictures of theirs from either location, could you please post them? Thanks in advance.

here are the pics from the LA site. For those who own a Fiji exquisite, is the bluish color behind the eye there all the time or is that a pic of a male that is in nuptuial (mating/exited) coloration?

Agreed, the Vanuatu is my favorite. Then the Maldives.

definitely the Vanuatu variant they are just beautiful been waiting for a pair for awhile now.... although the others are stunning as well.

There was a male Vanuatu on DD not too long ago, but I was too slow!!

I guess that I'm different. I like the Fiji coloration and have a local LFS getting me a male and female. Exquisite males are known to loose coloration without the presence of a female.

Seen the Vanuatu Exquisites here in Japan just recently. Incredible colours.

Vanuatu varients i think are the best but i also love a fiji as well...i have kept a fiji and a african

Ahh...so your the one with the quick fingers!... LOL! I'm glad to see someone from here got it! that fish looks awesome in the pic, so I can only imagine what it looks like in person! :thumbsup:

Lemon, that African Exquisite is unreal. The amount of red it has is stunning. I've never seen one like that.

Thanks. It will even "flash" from time to time, and really colors up. And it is a pig -- anytime I put my hand in the tank it thinks it is getting fed and bites me.

Wow Lemon! BOTH fish look amazing! it has actually gotten harder for me to choose now! :inlove: Are both wrasses in the same tank?
