Hello Everyone,
I currently have a 37 gallon saltwater tank with
1 pecula clownfish
1 lubbock wrasse
1 royal gramma
1 firefish
1 chocolate chip starfish
1 blue leg hermit crab

I was wondering if I would be able to get a Flame Hawkfish or a Saddle valentini Puffer. They are listed at reef safe with caution on LiveAquaria and I wanted to get a few opinions.

What kind of inverts are you wanting to keep? Are you going to do corals?

my flame hawk didn't bother my peppermint's. I don't have hermit's. shrimp vanished after I added a coral banded shrimp.

I'd probably get rid of that starfish as it'll eat anything it can get a hold of, too.

they won't eat fish or non-sessile inverts. they will happily eat coral though.

Um I had one banished to my sump and he'd eat my bad gorilla crabs like nobodies business

I'd say your tank is good, the puffer will eat your hermits and starfish

A matted file fish may be possible. Similar shape and maner. Gets to about 3.5". I love mine. Eats anything I put in the tank even algae sheets.

Wow, a trigger and a tang? You need to get a bigger tank (120+ gallons). Once you get that setup and running then get the bigger fish.
