I've had good luck with the Jager's but I would get two smaller heaters because when they go out they tend to stay on a big one can over heat your tank were if one of a smaller one got stuck on it would not over heat your tank
I don't trust any brand of heater. I put two in each tank and use a temperature controller to avoid a single failure point that could cook the tank. Tronic heaters have had the grace to fail off for me, rather than trying to boil my corals.
IMO 400w is to much for your tank (unless it's near a window with snow ) If you do need that much, two 200w heaters would be better. I would also do as bertoni mentioned, don't trust the heaters controller. Get a Ranco or like, to control your heater(s). Personaly, I like finnex titanium heaters.

I live in wisconsin. I have an unfinished basement and thats where my sump is located. Tanks is great during the summer - but a bit to low in the fall/winter.
