Which Kreg Pocket Hole Kit?

I need some help from anyone who has experience with these. I'd like to refine my woodworking skills and try a few new projects including a tank stand. This looks to be a necessary tool for what I want to accomplish. The Kreg kits that I've found online include the basic kit R3 Jr, a more extensive kit K4 and the all in one master kit K4MS. Please help me decide on which one and if I need to purchase anything else along with these kits such as screws or clamps. I will probably only use it a few times a year but I don't mind paying more for something that really works well.

IMO go with the big kit. More versatility. I use my KREG jig almost every day at work. If your building a stand and using 3/4" material you'll need 1 1/4" KREG style screws. I personally prefer fine thread. As for clamps, I have a few different KREG clamps and like the one with deep jaws the best.

I started with a junior and quickly outgrew it. I just picked up a K4 online for $99. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the master kit, but as you use it you can figure out what other accessories yo need and get them online or at your local woodworking store (Woodcraft or similar, NOT HD/Lowes)

Ok I'll go beyond the Jr kit. I can see many uses for this in the future so might as well get the right kit from the start. Thanks to all that replied.

You'll be happy you did. It's a great tool. Look it up on YouTube for all the different techniques and uses.

Thanks I've seen some of the youtube videos already and it looks like it will be a great addition to my lacking tool collection.

Word to the wise. Grind a couple flats on the drill depth stop. Otherwise it tends to roll away, and those suckers are BRITTLE.

I have the small single piece kit with the clamp and have never had a use for anything more. I have used it for years and I am not quite sure what the bigger kits offers because the single piece kit does the job...

If you use it a lot, the kit, aka Master system, is much faster. Do a kitchen worth of cabinets and you'll see the master kit as a godsend! :)
