Because the guy doing the poll searched the web and the LFS locator and did the best he could to list all of the stores. Coral Reef got missed.

old orchard since it is less than 2 miles away from home, i am willing to pay that extra cash to get nice healthy stuff.

Willmette pet is great for freshwater stuff so i would vote for that too but i dont think they have a saltwater section, do they?

I went into Old Orchard for the first time today. It is a nice shop with a lot of stuff. I think they are much better for fish than they are for corals. I wasn't overly impressed with the coral selection. They have mostly soft corals.

One of the guys that works there used to be at Chicago Aquarium and Pond on Clark. He got me started into SW again by selling me my 12 gallon nano a few years ago. I told him that I remembered him and this addiction was all his fault.

Anyway, maybe for fish and an occasional SPS or LPS, but I think that there are many better for corals. If it were closer, then I guess I would have a much different opinion. For the drive, I would rather go to Sharky's.

Aquatic reef and oceans floor because they are within 10 minutes from me. Plus they are great people to do business with.

I really liked the service I got at Aquatic Reef. I am sorry that it is so far away from the city. How far away do you think they are from the California border?

Well I can tell you for sure that at least one of them has been around for 13 years. So they must be doing something right.
Been shopping at Coral Reef for 20. jglackin, I thought you could upgrade that list. Not complaining. :)

i know this was said already, i wish this list had addresses also. i only know 3 stores from the list that i actuality visited

maybe someone can post the addresses to the top 10 voted hehe

You can't google them?

There used to be a link I will try and find it again. It was for one of the map sites and it would give you dots for every one of these on the map so you could see when one was close to you.

WOW...is there really that many LFS?

you FORGOT an IMPORTANT one for us SOUTH SIDERS....

AQUATICA By far one of the best for supplies, fish, corals and of course the 3000g shark display!
