Which nutrients do Bryopsis use?

Does Bryopsis use nitrates, phosphates, or something else?
In what levels do they use these? Are they just like Caulerpa, where they use N-P-K in a ratio of 5-2-1?

Have you read the sticky at the top of the forum? I've never had bryopsis and havent read it myself, but my guess it that bryopsis utilizes all of the mentioned nutrients and probably other trace elements as well. Given its tenacity it may also be capable of using phosphates bound in LR and substrates. Possibly you could add silicates as well. As for the ratio my reading suggests that different alga use nutrients in very different ratios, and even within the same species they may use it in different ratios depending upon many other variable conditions.

Bryopsis takes off when ammonia and/or nitrite are present.To limit its growth,good/or better bio filtration is needed.
