Niger (Odonus niger), Black Durgeon (Melichthys niger) or Pink Tail and have any ever been observed eating bristleworms?
All can if they are big enough (to answer the thread title)
wait until the niger grows larger....then he will keep everyone else in check.
Crosshatch and Sargassum?
Crosshatch and Sargassum?
I watched my female Crosshatch devour a healthy Green Chromis alive. The very next week, I found exactly one half of my Flame Hawk lying in the branches of its favorite coral perch. Both Crosshatches were gone immediately after. Wouldn't take one now for free.
clearly understood. I think we all understand ANY Trigger might potentially devour a small tankmate. I have experience with a large Niger. My cleaner shrimps were introduced before the Trigger and the fish never bothered them but any small fish became sushi. That's why I said "less likely", and not "could never happen".
