Ok here goes
Setting up a 5x2x2 fowlr (approx 560L = 140g) and am considering tunze. In Australia we cant buy the controllers seperately and add pumps so resticted to two choices

Single pumps or kits

of the kits I am considering

1. Pump 12000/h (3175 gal), wave simulation, food timer and an option for operation in night mode = Turbelle Ã"šÃ‚® stream 6100 + Singlecontroller 7091
cost = $560

or
2. 2 pumps with 2x12000/h (3175 gal), wave simulation, foodtimer, operation in night mode sequential pump circuit and tide simulation = 2 Turbelle Ã"šÃ‚® stream 6100 + Multicontroller 7094
Cost = $1200

or
3. pump produces wave simulation, food timer and an option for operation in night mode to reduce the speed of the flow. = Turbelle Ã"šÃ‚® stream 6000 + Single controller 7091 7000 L/H - 1538 G/H
cost= $500

My questions -
1)is option 2 overkill in a fowlr of this size?
2)I think I read that the 6000 have been superceded .. is this correct?
3)do I go for two option 3 and have two sep controllers ... is there any benefit to a single multicontroller?

Thanks for any help you can offer

Grant

1) Yes, the TS12 or your first option sounds like the best.
2) No, the 6000 will continue, we are just adding a bigger model, 6200.
3) Two 6000's on the multi would be the ultimate for this tank, but since it is a FOWLR the TS12 is more economical and will suffice. The multicontroller coordinates more than one pump and has more options than a single controller.
