which ph controller is better: Milwaukee 122 or Aquacontroller jr?

I am trying to decide whether or not to buy a separate Milwaukee SMS 122 and keeping my Reefkeeper or buy an aquacontroller jr and use its ph controller functions.

What would you do? I am leaning towards the SMS 122 because I have had my reefkeeper fail before and I am sure the aquacontroller jr could fail too. With a seperate controller wouldn't it just add another line of defense?

Not really. You are adding another piece of equipment but there is still only one level of safety. If you where adding a SMS122 to a Aquacontroller Jr. for instance you would have redundancy. I guess you would be isolating the controller though so only one function would fail if it goes out.

I have the Milwaukee and love it, except the resolution is only to the nearest tenth. That's the only thing I don't like.
