Which Radions for this footprint?

My SPS would grow, but VERY slowly. Someone on this site once said that as a general rule, for sps double the manufactures suggestion. If they suggest two XR15s go with two XR30s. And yeah, $1600 is why I didn't try that experiment. Don't get me wrong, if you have the cash, Radions are super nice lights and extremely configurable. I think corals under Radion LED look better than under T5 as well.

That said, as an example I've had an Oregon Tort for two years. About 1.5 months ago I switched to T5 and in that time it has doubled in size. I'm also getting colors from my pink lemonade and other sps which I've never seen under my radions.
Good to know, thank you.

Have you looked at the Kessil AP700, your footprint is ideal for a single fixture.

The thing with the Kessil AP700 is the same issue with the ATI. I don't want a fixture hanging from the ceiling by wires. I also don't really want poles sticking up from behind my stand and I can't get behind the stand anyway, the tank is full and I only have about 4.5" of clearance from the back of the stand to the wall. I'd like a mount that I can put directly on the rimless glass. I think Kessil has something in the works and I'm not sure about ATI.

Yeah that would work, thanks and it's apparently available now. I'm going to do some research tonight to see if there are some nice sps tanks using that fixture.

They are new, but just food for thought WWC uses two over their Acro display on their sale floor.

BRS tested them, they do reduce par should still be easily capable of growing and coloring acros.

It was nothing considerable, I'll still be impressed if you'll reach 80% intensity with those light and the diffusers.
