which should i choose t-5, pc, or vho actinic

i have a sunpod 150w hqi w/ a 14k bulb on my 29g. my wife says it's not blue enough and i kinda agree. I also don't think my corals are showing good coloration w/out the actinic.

So, as my subject line asks, which should i get for actinics, t-5's, pc's or vho's?

most ppl like the VHO's for the blue color they have. however i like the blue i get from my T5's so either would be good. IMO pc's are outdated anymore and will cost more in the long run due to they need to be replaced more often

I would go with a T5 420 nm bulb, nice blue color.

I am using a nova extreme fixture right now. Two daylight and 2 actinic. I want to upgrade to MH, but the actinics are a nice blue.

I recently purchased these for my 46 gall tank.. Have a couple of pics in my gallery.. (it is for a 46 bowfront 36". Bow part not pictured). I am running two aquablue bulbs in the t5 fixture, and 1x96 watt pc light with an actinic bulb (will upgrade the PC to t5 when I get more $$$). The color is more whitish with a hint of blue. I really like the color and what a difference in the brightness ( I was only running a 1x96 watt pc 50/50 before the upgrade).

i just got back from the lfs and i saw they changed to t-5's, i like them. i'm gonna take the plunge on the nova extreme retro kit in the next couple of weeks. i'll get some pics for everyone to see and to tell me what they think.
