Which stores here in AZ stock more SPS?

Hello residents of AZ, I am here visiting until Saturday from socal..

I'm looking to visit a few LFS here. I saw the sticky and would like some advice narrowing down which ones to visit since there are quite shops on the sticky.

So which ones are your favorite? I'm looking for a nice selection of coral, not looking for any fish. Preferably SPS and or other nice rare corals.

Would also be willing to pick up frags from local reefers if there are any SPS collectors here.

I always thought that being in So Cal you would have first shot at the most interesting stuff.

Club reef, has Ora account, aquarium arts but more expensive, coral reef imports are my choices for sps

Agreed. I haven't been impressed with the SPS selection here. Once is a while, I find interesting SPS in AZ lfs, but it is not often.

I just moved down here from Chicago about 3 weeks ago and have been shocked at how high some of the coral prices are in Phoenix's East Valley! I would have thought that the fact that all of the shop owners travel to the wholesalers and have a chance to handpick coral would reduce cost by never bringing in the hard to sell "junk coral" that many wholesalers add to fill boxes.

Sps is club reef, LE corals, CRI on the east side, swj on the west has a few mini colonies in stock and Monti frags.

Was going to visit a few today but it looks like CRI and LE corals are closed today. Maybe I will make my run tomorrow. Going to visit CRI, club reef, aquarium arts and LE corals.

Wow I'd have to agree, I never knew we were so spoiled in SoCal.. I visited 5 stores today..saw a few interesting things.. Mostly fish though. Saw a few cool pieces at club reef.

Contemplating going back to reef monsters to pick up a small purple tang before I leave on Saturday though. Been looking for a sm purple tang for months.

Prices out here are pretty reasonable compared to SoCal.
