Which tang?

I'm considering adding a Bristletooth tang to my 100 gallon, but I can't decide which one I like better, the Tomini or the Kole. I'd love some input from those of you who own them, along with photos. Thanks!

Tomini tang.
They're pretty much the same. So it's just down to aesthetics, I personally like the color of Tominis. Although I would say Koles are more common in stores.

Like others have said, any of the bristletooths will work. Personally, I love the spotted/squaretail bristletooth (Ctenochaetus truncatus), reminds me of a starry blenny or something with all it's fine little dots. If it's in the budget I'd definitely take a look at the whitetail bristletooth (Ctenochaetus flavicauda), which is almost universally renowned as the best looking bristletooth out there (outside of the juvenile phase chevron of course ). Good luck with whatever you end up doing

100 gal is not bid as far as reef tank go. I stick with the smaller tangs. Chevron will get too big for that tank.

Had a Tomini, great fish.

My favorite is the Chevron though. Really a fish I wouldn't have a tank without in the future.

I'd say go with a Tomini Tang. IME sometimes Kole Tangs can become pretty aggressive and territorial.

I'm definitely leaning towards the Tomini. I like the yellow outline on the fins. The Chevron doesn't interest me much, but I'll look into the other suggestions. Thank you all for the input. I currently have a yellow tang that has outgrown the 55 gallon so I'll be moving him to the 100 gallon (5 foot long) tank soon. I want to add him at the same time as the bristletooth tang. Would both work in that size tank if they are the only two large fish, and I'm lightly stocked?

And I'm still waiting on some photos if you have them. Sometimes it's nice to see them in someone's tank instead of just a stock photo.

The tominis are beautiful in person. For whatever reason, kole tangs never appealed to me but they are pretty as well. The ones that I have seen are a mix between yellow
And orange on the fins.

I am partial to Kole tangs because I have seen them in Hawaii many times. Tominis have a sharper and more angular face which makes them interesting. In other words their face is not as round as other bristletooth tangs.
