Which way to go???

Roger - I currently have a 60x30x27 tank and am running 2 6095s and 2 6055s. There just isn't enough flow being generated and I'm torn on how to proceed. Should I replace the 6055s with a single 6105 or 2 more 6095s?

It's a mixed reef with SPS in the top half and LPS/softies on the sandbed.

You could really go either way but I think I would go with 2 6095s personally. The length of the tank would be better served by the 6105 but 4 6095s would give you more flow options.

Thanks Shawn. I'm really torn on this one. I may just trade in the 6055s for a 6205. I can have the 6205 on one end and the 2 6095s on the other end. Would a 6205 be enough? Since it's a mixed reef with SPS on the top half and LPS on the bottom half, I want to make sure I have enough flow to keep the SPS happy, but not so much that is blows my LPS away.

I agree with Shawn, I worry the 6105 might be too much for many LPS unless they were in coves and somewhat sheltered. You could place 4 6095's on the back wall and it should really cover everything. In fact, before I bought anything else, I might just try placing all pumps on the back wall parallel to each other and aimed to hit the front just about a ft away from their placement on the back wall. I would try pulse mode so all are running at the same time.
