Which wrasse is not known to be a jumper?

I have a open top rimless tank and would like to get a wrasse. Can anyone provide me with a good list of wrasses that aren't known to be jumpers (if any)?

Things that I've personally noticed that can make fish more prone to jumping is the presence of a bully, and tank height/size I believe can also have a factor. That being said I wouldn't trust any wrasse completely without a top, as I have had some carpet surfers before...

A dead wrasse won't jump, but all others have the potential.

I have a dusky wrasse and timor wrasse. Both when frightened head for the sand bed. Something in this genus is less likely to jump

Anything that startles them can make wrasses jump! They all are prone to jump. When the lights come on, something walks into the room, walking in front of the tank, they are jumpers. Any tank with wrasses need a 1/4 screen in my experience.

You can make a screen that is below the top of the rimless tank. I do it on my rimless. It is almost unnoticeable. I have all sorts of jumping fish and not a single loss.

How is it sitting in there? Those plastic clips? Do you have a link to where you got them?

I just took some acrylic and drilled it. Then I screwed it to the frame. You could use damned near anything to make the tabs. The key is to make the frame to the inside dimensions of your rimless tank.

I'm pretty sure this point has been made, but just to reiterate:

ALL wrasses are jumpers. You can't stop them from jumping, you can only stop them from getting out when they do.
