White Coral Skeletons from Aruba

I have several decent sized white coral skeletons and shells lying around that I got in Aruba about 13 or so years ago as a wee lad (Now age 22,...oh that father time). Would I be able to use them as base rock in my tank that would eventually become LR? They've just been sitting around for years so I'm not sure if I should just immediately enter them into my tank. Should I cure them by adding it to a bucket or tub of salt water with a small pump running? If so how long would the process take?

You should be able to use them in your tank. I would probably cure them first, just to be safe. I can't guess about how long it would take, but if you do a lot of water changes and scrubbing, I'd expect it to be quick.
