was surfing ebay and found this to die for eel. wish i had my other tank setup!

sent the guy a message hopefully he accepts my offer :-)

what do you guys think??

Depending on how long it's been in captivity and what it's been eating. They are pretty tricky to get to eat. I had one years ago that starved to death even with live food.
 
looks like im not getting the fish after all. i recived this email fromt he supplier after asking for pictures of the fish to make sure everything was good and it was alive, and this is what he sent me.

I have some bad news. The eels tail was bitten by another eel and it has a small laceration on it. I want to either hold it for a week to make sure that it heals properly or refund you because I don't want to ship it out with any damage. Please let me know what you want to do.



so i emailed him back and asked him to call me or text me and gave him my number. he refused to do either. so my only conclusion is he is a shady seller and to steer clear from him and his auctions. there goes a ton of money tied up in paypal. but i guess better than receiving a dead fish.

IMO if your selling fish as a retailer you should know better as what to keep with what. but i think hes just making up BS because i asked for proof pictures that eel was alive and in good health.

but yea i wanted to make sure all was well so i was asking questions and such and when i did boom the eel was "hurt" hummm strange if you ask me
 
just be sure to let him refund the money dont dispute it for a few days. if you dispute it you wont have your money forever. As long as he refunds it that is

he refunded but some of it was a bank transfer so all the paypal money was returned no problem and the money transferred from my bank is on hold -_- so now i have like $100 on hold i cant use for who knows how long :-(
