White Mantis-Please Help!!!

I recently added about 6lbs of Florida L/R to my tank to speed up my coralline growth. I have a 55 with a total of 145lbs of L/R. I have found what I believe to be a white mantis. He is only about 1-1.25"long. Here are the questions...
1.) Is this guy safe to leave in my coral/fish reef?
2.) Is this species rare?
3.) Anyone have pics to confirm my ID? (I'll post a pic if he will play nice for the camera)
4.) How big will he get?

n, wennerae, common florida hitchhiker, has been kept with fire fish. will get to 3 inches. the most he should kill is a few hermits and snails.

I check some pics, and thats not him. This guy is more pale white. Still waiting for him to play nice for the camera.Thanks for the input. mike

the thing is there are different color morphs for a N. wennerae.

ill check to see what color morphs they have.

Woah there, Hutton, lets not be too hasty! Remember, all we have so far is color. Mike, if you want a positive ID, a pic is probably necessary, specifically of the meral spots and telson (tip of tail). The meral spots (on the raptorial appendages) and shape of telson are pretty mandatory when figuring out what type of mantis in that area (Neogondactylus). Besides, there are lots of mantises that can be white.

P.S., if you search this forum for "ID" threads, you might see a pic of this particular species (whatever it is).

i was just quessing do to the most common hitch hicker on florida live rock. it would be cool if he got a p. ciliate though, something about them makes them look like cats.
