I got this male blonde naso tang from DD last Thursday and he was acclimated straight to my display which is 72x36x25.....I dnt hve any quanterine setup but I took my time while acclimation him to my display ...
Tang is about 7.5"...1st couple days he didn't eat any thing and now he only eats nori sheets ....I been trying feeding my tank twice a day just trying to get him eat pe mysis and brine but he won't touch anything besides eating nori twice a day ...
His tank mates r
9 Anthias 1 small purple tang 2 wrasses and 2 clowns ....
Couple day ago I noticed a large white patch on him ..patch is about atleast 3/4 "...he seems fine and healthy and eating nori very aggressively but dnt know why not eating mysis and brine shrimps

Is this white patch on a fin or on the body? Might just be Lympho... or could be a cut or an infection. Pic would help.

There was a Naso on DD a few days ago that showed several of these white "stress" blotches. I've never kept a Naso, but they sure show up a lot on this forum with the blotches quite often.

Would also like to add that you should not be frustrated by a large Naso not eating mysis and such. They typically won't when aquired over 5 inches in size. Some take to other foods but most prefer only sea weed.
