white spot on Crocea

DEERE G

Passing Through
I noticed yesterday a small area on the clams mantle that did not look quite right. It looks a little shrunken or recessed compared to the rest of the mantle. There is a white / milky looking spot right there also. The spot is about 3/16" in diameter. I have had the Crocea in my tank for 3 weeks today. The clam is about 2-1/2 to 3" in size. The clam is attached to a piece of rock that I placed it on. The clam is about midway up in my 120 AGA. The clam has been doing well with nice extension . it still looks really nice except for that one spot. I am running Galaxy 2 x 250 ballast with Lumenarc minis and Radium 20 k bulbs. My params are in check. I have a six line , blue tang, cleaner shrimp and snails. I cannot get a pic of the spot. There are no corals in contact with the clam. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I should add that this is my first any only clam. I have always wanted one. This was not just an impulse to add a clam. I feel that everything was in order and I had done enough research before my addition. Thanks!

I can't seem to be able to get a good pic with my "cheapo" camera. I know I am not giving you much to go on w/out pics. I will try tomorrow , my lights just went out at 8:00. Thanks
