White stringy poo, prazi no work

Can I use metronidazole with cupramine? I have a line spot flasher in QT (divers den by the way) that has had the white stringy poo since I had him. I dosed prazi 3 times (dose, wait 5 days, 50% change, dose again, repeat, etc etc). Saw him pooping yesterday and it is still the white stringy.

He is in with a couple other fish in QT and they have already been in copper over a week so I would rather not remove the cupramine at this point.

I'm losing my faith in prazi especially after reading many peoples lack of results with it for flukes too.

I have a ton of faith in metro as I saved several fish that were almost dead with it, and it is supposed to also work for internal parasites so I'd like to try this instead of prazi now. I recently decided to do a metro bath on all my new arrivals pre QT, however I had this line spot flasher before I began doing that.

I know prazi is said to be safe with cupramine, although not recommended. And I know there is some med out there that has prazi and metro both in it. So thoughts? Anyone actually try metro simultaneously with cupramine?

Surprised that a DD fish would have made it through their quarantine with something as common as worms/flukes. Hope you get things sorted out.

Although DD does have a good QT regimen, most of their fish are only in their facility for two weeks. This is not enough time to observe/notice/treat properly.

I believe all DD specimens get fed Prazi soaked food; which IMO just feeding and not dosing is questionable for completely eradicating flukes. And I doubt they would treat with metro unless they were sure the fish had intestinal worms.

Ah, did not realize they were there such a short time. I was under the impression they were observed for longer. Thanks!

Just for the sake of updating... I couldn't figure out how to order from the site mentioned above, everytime through checkout it got messed up so I gave up. If anyone knows another vendor for that paracide x please pm me.

As for the flasher wrasse, I basically used the directions from the paracide x substituting in Metronidazole. I fed it for 6 days though, since the wrasse didn't eat the fist time I fed it.

I have not seen the white stringy poo again since I started feeding the metro, and the wrasse is now in my display fattening up more every day. :)

Also I did complete that regimen while still in full copper with cupramine.

I saved this fish, and after a couple weeks in the display, He jumped. I have a canopy too. Dunno how he got out really. He was fattening up nicely too.
