This is two different SPS corals I Got from My LFS he glued them together. Can someone tell me why the one on the left has white tips. This is my first SPS.
A LK. 8.4
CAL. 400
Nitrates 0
Phosphates 0.06
Evolution LEDs 200 W

Tough to tell without pictures.

Many acros (if that's what they are) have white growing tips, so that may not be an issue and in fact could be good (it's growing).

If the tips are white as in exposed skeleton no flesh, then that's a problem.

Usually white at the tips means growth. Rtn usually starts at the base. Nothing to panic about.

Those are two forms of birdsnest corals. They both look healthy.

No I didn't glue them together. The guy at a LFS did.
