Who has 150w HQI's over their tanks ?

Thanks for everyones feedback.

Man this is a hard call..... I'm want to keep the 250's but don't think i will need to since the maristar fixture has 2 T5 bulbs in it,,,,, and i'm now thinking of throwing 2 more t5's in the canopy.

For the people with 150's ... are the Metal Halides the only light you have over the tank ?

the MH is the only light over my tank. Growth is not SUPER slow, but its nothing to brag about either. My colors are nice...as long as I keep my blue's and millie's at the top of my tank.

When I get to halfway down in my...what...20 inch (I think) high tank color goes brown.

That sounds pretty good for it being a 20inch tall tank ....

I have 2x150w 14KK Phoenix and 2x39w T5s (11KK and true actinic). To me this is the best configuration for color. I tried 2 actinics before and it was way too blue.
